As a result, we’re looking for a business development associate to help drive the next phase of our growth.

Position Summary

Vyond is looking for a talented business development associate to work with our affiliates, agency partners, video production partners, and resellers. The candidate will also field responses to new partnership inquiries and opportunities. This role requires a candidate who is a quick learner, is eager to grow and execute, collaborates well with various functional teams, and can build strong rapport with clients and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and help to develop strategic relationships with potential partners or customers
  • Work with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to implement business development initiatives
  • Proactively connect with partners to collect their feedback, build and maintain relationships, and increase partner success
  • Manage every aspect of Vyond’s affiliate marketing program, including strategy, planning, reporting, and execution
  • Identify, evaluate, and proactively recruit new affiliate partners
  • Analyze affiliate, agency, and video production partner performance and ROI, reporting on acquisition costs and performance of acquired traffic in regards to conversion rates, traffic, retention, and lifetime value
  • Assist in the development of a strong pipeline of new business opportunities through direct or indirect contact and prospecting
  • Educate and qualify prospective partners – developing opportunities
  • Work with existing partners to implement and optimize campaigns

Skills/Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of related work experience
  • Prior account management and business development experience preferred
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing resellers and partners
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High emotional intelligence
  • Intuitive selling abilities
  • Personable and persistent
  • SaaS or B2B experience preferred

Education

College degree preferred, but not required.

Location

This is a full-time position based in our San Mateo, CA office. We can only consider candidates eligible to work in the United States.
