Optimize the quality of employee training and improve learning outcomes

Securitas Direct’s training strategy needed to evolve to better meet the current needs of its teams. Opportunities for improvement were identified, aiming for greater flexibility and dynamism in training processes. The goal was to enhance the learning experience, standardize training quality, and facilitate large-scale implementation.

Content digitalization: a key to evolving e-learning solutions

In this context, content digitalization has been a fundamental pillar in moving toward a more flexible and efficient model. The integration of high-impact multimedia resources has raised the quality standards of the content while enabling continuous updates. The role of the tutor has also been redefined—now acting more as a consultant or guide throughout the training process, focused on adding value to the student’s experience and encouraging more autonomous and dynamic learning.

Approach

Short animated videos distributed via a more automated platform

To improve the efficiency of Securitas Direct’s training plan, we proposed new training solutions based on content digitalization. The Vyond platform allows for the easy and intuitive creation of animated videos that integrate smoothly with Rise by Articulate 360, Securitas Direct’s e-learning course creation software. The materials not only have a greater impact but are also developed and updated more quickly and autonomously. This reduces tutor dependency and facilitates the onboarding of new employees.

Hybrid training methodology integrating learning simulators

The use of flexible digital platforms increases the capacity to produce easily adaptable and updatable courses for a wide variety of learner profiles. Online training incorporates simulations of the processes and tools used in operational areas. This highly practical digital experience is combined with in-person sessions led by trainers and active employees who interact with customers daily. Altogether, this strategy makes onboarding at Securitas Direct faster and more successful.
