Copy and Paste Between Projects
Now you can copy and paste between different projects. Take assets from one browser tab to another:
Keyboard Shortcuts
- Select assets in the first tab and press Ctrl+C or Cmd⌘+C on Mac.
- In the next tab, paste with Ctrl+V or Cmd⌘+V.

Updated Flip Character Functionality
The Flip feature has been updated to take clothing and hairstyle into account. Previously, if you selected “Flip” on a character, the clothing and hairstyle would flip as well. Now, when you select “Flip Action” the characters will move their arms and actions to the other side, but outfits will stay the same.
You can still invert the character image as you did before, but we’re calling this “Mirror” from now on.

Retiring the Legacy Video Maker and Pause Users Feature
On December 16, 2019, Vyond will retire the Legacy Video Maker (The old video maker). The first phase of this process took place on August 14, 2019, when all user accounts defaulted to Vyond Studio. All legacy videos will continue to be available for migration to Vyond Studio for the foreseeable future after the Legacy Video Maker is retired, though we recommend that if you use the Legacy Video Maker extensively, you should download all of your videos from legacy prior to December 16th to ensure that you have the original MP4 file.
As part of the Legacy Video Maker’s retirement, we will also be retiring the Pause Users feature, as it is incompatible with Vyond Studio. In the short-term, the Pause Users feature will be replaced by two new features: the ability to deactivate users and the ability to transfer content from one user’s account to another. This will ensure that any currently paused user’s data is not lost.
Retiring the Legacy Video Maker and Pause Users feature
In the longer-term, we will be releasing an all-new Admin Panel in 2020, which will have many new features that streamline user management:
- User Groups – Assign users on your team to groups and give them the ability to share videos and assets within those groups.
- Additional User Roles – New user roles will allow admins to more effectively classify your team into functional user roles, allow or restrict the use of individual features, and more.
- Activity Logs – Administrators will be able to track activity across their team, including things like last login, last shared video, last created video, and more.
