Broadcom’s learning teams wanted to scale technical video production, but their existing process — recording instructor-led sessions and editing them manually in Adobe — made content difficult to update, localize, and reuse. Giving more teams the ability to create video also introduced another challenge: maintaining consistent branding while complying with Broadcom’s strict identity, copyright, security, and generative AI policies.
Instead of rolling out Vyond broadly, Broadcom took a phased approach. The team first validated SSO and priority use cases with an administrator. Then it combined self-onboarding, train-the-trainer support, and shared enablement sessions to prepare teams across divisions to create video within established controls.
“We’re big proponents of train the trainer.”
— Broadcom L&D Leader
Broadcom established a controlled path to expanding video creation before committing to a broader Vyond rollout. Teams tested immediate use cases with Broadcom-specific templates, avatars, backgrounds, and props, confirming that the platform could support both their content needs and brand standards before seats were expanded. Vyond also allowed Broadcom to disable unapproved AI capabilities, giving teams access to permitted creation tools without compromising enterprise policies.
